It's official! Simbu is the new host of Bigg Boss Ultimate. Watch promo

Simbu has been roped in to host Bigg Boss Ultimate in place of Kamal Haasan. The latter walked out of the show due to work commitments.

Silambarasan AKA Simbu is the new host of Bigg Boss Ultimate. The Twitter handle of Disney+ Hotstar shared the latest promo featuring actor Simbu. The actor looks dashing in his new avatar and the promo made his fans quite excited. In the video, Simbu said that he didn't expect to host the reality show. Earlier, Kamal Haasan was roped in to host Bigg Boss Ultimate.

A few weeks ago, Kamal Haasan announced Bigg Boss Ultimate, the first season of the OTT version. Unlike the five seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil, this show will stream on Disney+ Hotstar 24*7. Recently, Kamal Haasan opted out of the show due to work commitments.

Ever since Kamal announced his decision, rumours were doing the rounds about the next host of Bigg Boss Ultimate. The OTT platform has made it official now. The latest promo shows Simbu gearing up to host the remaining Sunday episodes of Bigg Boss Ultimate.

Towards the end of the promo, Simbu can be seen asking, "Didn't expect it, right? Even, I didn't expect it. Let's begin!"

Bigg Boss Ultimate went on floors on January 30. 14 contestants from the five seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil were chosen to participate in the OTT version of the reality show. Bigg Boss Ultimate will not be screened on Vijay Television.Recently, Vanitha Vijayakumar walked out of the show. Niroop, Maria Juliana, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Thamarai Selvi, Dhaadi Bhaji, Balaji Murugadoss, Anitha Sampath, Suruthi and Snehan are remaining on the show.
