Families of eleven US Marines, one Navy sailor and one Army soldier, who died in a suicide bombing at Afghanistan’s Kabul airport on Thursday, mourned the death of their kin.

Thirteen US soldiers, many in their early 20s, were on the casualty list in the horrific suicide bombing at Afghanistan’s Kabul airport on Thursday, which also claimed the lives of more than 160 Afghans. The fallen US soldiers included eleven Marines, one Navy sailor and one Army soldier. While the US Defence Department has not formally announced the names of the service members killed in the attack, details of their lives began to emerge on Friday as family and friends were notified.
