ISRO to help govt set up satellite TV classrooms to bridge learning gap during Covid-19 school closures

ISRO has agreed to help the Indian government set up satellite TV classrooms in an effort to bridge the digital divide and learning gap among thousands of students who are unable to access online classes during the Covid-19 school closures.

ISRO has agreed to help the Indian government set up satellite TV classrooms in an effort to bridge the digital divide in rural India due to which thousands of students across India are unable to get access to online classes during the Covid-19 school closures. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) gave the nod to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education on Friday to offer technical assistance in this regard to help bridge the learning gap.
