ISKCON urges Bangladesh govt to ensure safety of minorities after Noakhali temple attack

The ISKCON temple authorities have urged the Bangladesh government to ensure the safety of minorities in the country in the wake of the alleged attack by a mob on devotees at the temple in Noakhali on Friday.
Two days after a mob attacked devotees at the ISKCON temple in Noakhali in Bangladesh, the temple authorities called upon the Sheikh Hasina government of the country to take immediate and substantial steps to ensure the safety of minorities there.
In an official statement, ISKCON condemned the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, including their own temples and members. “Between October 13 and 15, multiple temples, homes, shops and individuals were attacked across several districts of the country,” the statement read.
