Cabs are here! The stars of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" are ready to say farewell (again).
The MTV series, a sequel spin-off of the iconic reality series "Jersey Shore," is set to enter the homestretch of its final season this May following an eight-season run, MTV announced on Wednesday, March 4.
The first half of "Family Vacation" Season 8 premiered last May and wrapped in September. The next installment of episodes will cap off the long-running reunion series, which centers on the original "Jersey Shore" cast members reconnecting through various group vacations.
"The 'Shore' family is going bigger than ever, celebrating the moments that made this franchise a cultural phenomenon," MTV said in a statement. "The all-new season is packed with fist-pump-worthy milestones and unforgettable moments, from pregnancies and baby showers to bachelorette parties, gender reveals, ab reveals, births, birthdays, weddings and more."
"Jersey Shore" debuted in 2009 and followed the party-heavy shenanigans of a group of housemates in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. The series quickly became a pop culture juggernaut, inspiring cheeky catchphrases, viral dance moves and Halloween costumes.
