Delhi Capitals opener David Warner has established himself as a household name among cricketing fans across the world and is among the fan favourites in India also. DC shared a post on their official Instagram handle featuring David Warner in which the star opener can be seen giving a special message to the fans in the Bengali language ahead of his team's crucial IPL 2022 match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) this afternoon.

Warner greeted and conversed with one of his teammates in the Bengali language fluently ahead of the KKR clash. "A message from @davidwarner31 for fans on both sides ?? Looking forward to a great game, @kkriders ???? #YehHaiNayiDilli | #IPL2022," DC captioned its social media post.
Notably, Warner, who led Sunrisers Hyderabad to their maiden IPL title win in 2016, was roped in by the DC franchise in the mega auctions. The Australian star had missed Delhi Capitals' first two IPL 2022 games due to international commitments before turning up against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Thursday.
However, Warner had a far from a decent outing in DC colours as he struggled with the bat in the middle. Warner, who is the fifth-highest run-getter in the IPL, made 4 runs in 11 balls on his return to Delhi-based IPL franchise after 9 long years.
The 35-year old will be hoping to get back into the groove and contribute to DC's upcoming match against KKR at the Brabourne Stadium on Sunday.
