India records its highest average broadband speed of 62.45Mbps in August, as per Ookla

For the first time, India recorded the mean speed of 62.45 Mbps, the highest ever, the country has achieved in the overall fixed broadband download speeds on the Global Index Report.
India improved on the broadband front in August 2021, according to data from Ookla, the global leader in mobile and broadband network intelligence. For the first time ever, India recorded the mean speed of 62.45 Mbps, the highest ever, the country has achieved in the overall fixed broadband download speeds on the Global Index Report. With this India has maintained its global ranking at 68th position. Ookla recently released updates to its Speedtest Global Index for the month of August.
