India hits out at Pak, says it's stooping to a new low by denying abduction of Afghan envoy's daughter

India said the abduction and assault of an Afghan envoy's daughter in Islamabad is a "very shocking" incident. It added that by denying the victim's account and blaming India, Pakistan is "stooping to a new low".

Pakistan's response to the abduction and assault of Afghanistan's Ambassador's daughter in Islamabad last week and its denial of the victim's account is "very shocking", said Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi on Thursday. Terming the abduction a "very shocking" incident, the MEA said the matter involved two other countries -Pakistan and Afghanistan-and usually India would not comment on it.
