There’s a new Commander in town. Slated to hit the Latin American market, the 2022 Jeep Commander is a 7-seater, three-row SUV based on the updated Jeep Compass. For India, Jeep will take over the Commander as the Jeep Meridian, a three-row challenger to the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and the recently introduced Mahindra XUV700. The 2022 Jeep Meridian will be positioned above the Compass in Jeep’s India line-up. First glance at the 2022 Jeep Commander three-row SUV and it looks like a stretched version of the Jeep Compass. However, the company has put in efforts to stray away from the Compass design and added its own flair to give the Commander its own individual character. What doesn’t change is the seven-slot grille flanked by redesigned LED headlamps sitting atop a much flatter design. The DRLs also get LED treatment and sit on a new bumper, while the lower section houses the fog lamps.More Related News
