WBC’s inaugural symposium will focus on ‘The Future of Healthcare’ and ‘Green Research’, fostering global collaboration in sustainable development and healthcare innovation.
The Wolverhampton–Bengaluru Research and Innovation Centre (WBC), a joint initiative of the University of Wolverhampton (UK) and Bengaluru City University (BCU), will be inaugurated on April 22, at the Jnana Jyothi campus in Bengaluru., at 10.30 a.m.
The centre will be inaugurated by Minister for Higher Education M.C. Sudhakar and Minister for Medical Education Sharan Prakash R. Patil.
Prof. K.R. Jalaja, acting Vice-Chancellor of BCU, will preside over the event. The chief guests will be Professor Ebrahim Adia, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wolverhampton, and Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi, former vice-chancellor of BCU.
Key speakers include Prashant Pillai, guest of honour, Suresh Renukappa, Centre Director, and Subhashini Suresh, Principal Adviser for India Partnerships.
