In a bid to make the metro more accessible for transgender persons, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has made the provision of allowing them to use toilets which were previously meant for the specially-abled only. To ensure that the transgender passengers travelling by the Delhi Metro get unhindered access to toilets at it stations, Delhi Metro has made the provision of allowing them access to separate toilets at its stations, which were hitherto meant for Divyanjans only.
