
IIMB’s EPGP climbs up to 34th globally in Financial Times MBA Rankings 2026, ranks third in India

IIMB’s EPGP ranks 34th globally and third in India in the Financial Times MBA Rankings 2026, highlighting exceptional achievements.
The Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP), the one-year full-time MBA for experienced professionals, offered by Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has climbed in the latest Financial Times MBA Rankings 2026, securing the 34th position globally, up from 57th in 2025. The programme also consolidated its standing domestically, ranking third among MBA offerings in India.
The Financial Times rankings assess programmes on parameters such as career progression, alumni satisfaction, research output, diversity, internationalisation and value for money. In the 2026 edition, the EPGP recorded an ‘Aims Achieved’ score of 85%, one of the highest among Indian institutions. It ranked fourth globally in Career Progress, and second in India on the same metric, placed 24th worldwide for Value for Money, and achieved a global Carbon Footprint rank of 21, the highest in India.
The institute also secured the second position in India in the FT Research Rank, which is based on faculty publications in 50 selected academic and practitioner journals between January 2023 and May 2025.
Gender diversity indicators showed progress, with women accounting for 44% of the Board and 25% of the faculty.
The Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) combines academics with leadership development and global exposure to navigate complex and technology-driven business environments. The EPGP has graduated more than 1,000 professionals who now hold senior leadership roles across sectors.
