In tune with the ever-evolving leadership roles to meet the challenges of the emerging business dynamics by grooming managers of the future, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar launched its new two-year Executive MBA programme in a non-residential hybrid mode with an intake of 40 working professionals. The first batch of the EMBA programme was inaugurated by way of a virtual handshake between the students and the faculty in the presence of Suresh Kumar, Chief Principal Secretary to the Punjab Chief Minister, Sanjay Gupta, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIM Amritsar, and Professor Nagarajan Ramamoorthy, Director of the prestigious institute. Addressing the 40 working professionals of the first EMBA batch with job experience ranging from three to more than 20 years, Professor Nagarajan Ramamoorthy, Director, IIM Amritsar, shared, “Our institution will ensure that business leaders, as well as accomplished alumni, endow the executives with expertise that would substantively benefit their current organisations.”
