
IED found near Jammu-Srinagar highway in Qazigund, defused

An Improvised Explosive Device was found at Damjan area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway. The IED has now been defused, officials said.
The security forces on Tuesday evening defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Damjan area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district that was detected along Jammu-Srinagar national highway, officials said. A top police official told India Today TV that the IED was found in Damjan area of Qazigund, following which the bomb disposal squad rushed to the area and defused it.More Related News
