India's Ishan Kishan has made a significant rise in the latest ICC Men's T20I batter rankings, climbing 32 places to No. 32 following an impressive comeback series against New Zealand.
Kishan wasted little time in making an impact on his return to international cricket, scoring 76, 28 and 103 across the three-match series. His consistency at the top of the order has been reflected in a sharp jump up the rankings.
There was also movement inside the top 10 for T20I batters. India's Abhishek Sharma continues to hold a commanding lead at the summit, while England captain Jos Buttler moved up to third. Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka climbed to fifth, India's Suryakumar Yadav rose to sixth, and New Zealand's Tim Seifert advanced to ninth.
South Africa batter Ryan Rickelton was among the biggest movers on the list, surging 42 places to 40th. Australia all-rounder Cameron Green climbed 16 spots to 14th, while Proteas wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock gained 15 places to sit joint-22nd.
In the T20I bowling rankings, England leg-spinner Adil Rashid moved up two places to fourth, while New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner jumped eight spots to equal 23rd. Both are expected to play key roles for their sides at the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Seven different teams are represented inside the top 11 of the T20I batter rankings, underlining the competitive depth heading into the global event.
