Income tax officials are questioning officials of a cooperative bank in Maharashtra's Buldhana over irregularities in loans given to a sugar mill linked to former CM of Maharashtra Ashok Chavan.
Income tax officials are questioning officials of a cooperative bank in Buldhana district of Maharashtra over irregularities in loans given to a sugar mill linked to former CM of Maharashtra Ashok Chavan, who is presently Cabinet Minister for PWD in the state.
The I-T officials had earlier conducted inquiries on the same in Nanded. Earlier, I-T officials had conducted raids on entities related to deputy CM Ajit Pawar's sisters, son and close aides, which led to the discovery of unaccounted income of Rs 184 crores.
