
Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Staria win 2021 Good Design Awards

In all, Hyundai took home awards in five categories including trophies for the Ioniq 5 BEV and the Staria MPV in the transportation category.
Hyundai has bagged several accolades at the 2021 Good Design Awards with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV and the Hyundai Staria MPV winning in the transportation category. Winning awards in a total of five categories, Hyundai also won in interactive media, household, mobile apps and graphic design categories. The Good Design Awards has honoured products design and helped push forward the envelope for design and innovation for 75 years.
Speaking on the accolades, SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Hyundai Global Design Centre boss said, “We are greatly honoured to be recognized by GOOD DESIGN Awards for these very important vehicles and innovations. This honour speaks to the outstanding work of our design dream team, who put their passion and heart into this project and also our R&D center engineers who made this achievement together. It also reflects the competitiveness of Hyundai’s design identity in the global marketplace.”

Meta has hired the team behind the agentic AI startup Dreamer. The startup was founded by former Google executives Hugo Barra, David Singleton, and Nicholas Jitkoff, who will now work on Meta's agentic AI plans. This announcement comes after Mark Zuckerberg acquired the AI social media platform Moltbook to bolster agentic AI development.

OpenAI is offering big incentives to private equity firms in a bid to raise more funds. The ChatGPT-maker is offering a minimum return rate of 17.5 per cent, as well as early access to its new AI models. As per reports, the Sam Altman-led firm is hoping to secure a stronger footing in the enterprise market following Anthropic's lead.
