Hyderabad authorities seize 643 LPG cylinders in a crackdown on supply manipulation to ensure transparent distribution and consumer access.

As many as 643 domestic LPG cylinders have been seized across Hyderabad district in the last week amid a crackdown on the gas scarcity, officials said on Tuesday. District Rationing Officer Raji Reddy warned that strict action would be taken against any individual or agency found manipulating supplies or engaging in illegal practices.

As part of enforcement efforts, District Civil Supplies Officer Srinivas, along with field staff, inspected the c. During the inspection, officials examined stock registers to verify supply records and ensure compliance with norms. 

The team also interacted with consumers to assess the availability of LPG cylinders and understand any issues in accessing supplies. Officials said the exercise was aimed at ensuring transparency in distribution and preventing inconvenience to consumers, said a release.
