Hyderabad District Collector Anudeep Durishetty on Thursday urged parents to ensure 100% classroom attendance for their children and encouraged students to pursue academic excellence with determination.

The Collector also distributed uniforms and books to the students.
“Education is the real jewel. No matter how much wealth one has, without education, it is meaningless,” he said, addressing students and parents. He pointed out that each student of a government school in the State benefits from government expenditure of over ₹1 lakh annually, covering uniforms, teacher salaries, midday meals, textbooks, notebooks, and workbooks.
He also appealed to parents to spread awareness about the facilities available at government schools and motivate them to enrol their children. “We want to see an increase in new admissions under the Badi Bata (Back to School) campaign,” he said.
