Hunarbaaz team recreates Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor's baraat. Neetu, Karan Johar join the party

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married on April 14, and oh what fun did the latter’s mom Neetu Kapoor have! Dressed in bests, sasu maa Neetu has been posting one photo after the other from the mehendi and wedding. After we saw Neetu, Ranbir, Kareena and others, put up a show at RaAlia’s mehendi ceremony, we saw the veteran actress take the celebration to the sets of Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan as well. Not just that, hosts Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, judges Parineeti Chopra, along with Karan Johar and Mithun Chakraborty were seen dancing to Ranbir and Alia’s recreated baraat!

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding has been the talk of the town this past week. Just a day after the wedding, Neetu Kapoor was spotted on the sets of Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan for the grand finale. Clips of the show are now going viral on the web which shows Alia and Ranbir’s baraat being recreated with cut-outs of the couple, decorated with money garlands and dupatta. Bharti and Haarsh’s perfect comic timing stole the show further. Later, mom Neetu Kapoor danced beside Ranbir and Alia’s cut-out, along with Karan Johar. Not just this, Neetu Kapoor also danced to bahurani Alia’s Dholida from Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Neetu Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Marzi Pestonji’s upcoming show, Dance Deewane Juniors will replace Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan. Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra and Mithun Chakraborty were the judges of the show. Both the set of judges united for the grand finale of Hunarbaaz and the launch of Dance Deewane Juniors. And that is where Karan and Neetu shared inside deets from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding.

Did you know Neetu Kapoor and Karan Johar were the ones who danced the most at the wedding? KJo shared that he applied mehendi on his hand for the first time for Alia’s wedding and almost wiped it on his face! Bharti also asked Karan about funny moments, to which, the director-producer stated that it was rather an emotional and teary-eyed day for everyone. Neetu Kapoor said, “Mera emotional moment isiliye tha because this was Rishi ji’s [Rishi Kapoor] last wish ke mere bete ki shaadi ho, aur main dekh rahi thi ke unki last wish puri ho rahi hain. So, I only wished that he could see it. But I’m sure he is watching. It was very, very emotional.”

The grand finale of Hunarbaaz starts at 9 pm on April 17, on Colors.
