‘Hridayapoorvam’: Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad’s film goes on floors
We earlier reported that Mohanlal is reuniting with filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad for a new film, their 18th collaboration as actor and director. Titled Hridayapoorvam, the film’s shooting commenced earlier today.
The film, interestingly, also marks the actor-director duo’s collaboration after a decade. They had previously teamed up for Ennum Eppozhum (2015).
Akhil Sathyan (Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum), director and son of Sathyan Anthikad, has written the story of the movie while the screenplay and dialogues have been written by Sonu TP.
The film features Malavika Mohanan as the female lead, while Sangita Madhavan Nair, Sangeeth Prathap, Siddique, and Janardhanan are the other actors in the movie.
Anu Moothedath is the cinematographer while Prasanth Madhav is the art director of the movie. Anil Radhakrishnan is the sound designer and Justin Prabhakaran is the music composer. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, the film is slated to hit theatres on August 25.

Parvathi Nayar’s new exhibition, The Primordial, in Mumbai, traces oceans, pepper and climate change
Opened on March 12, the exhibition marks the artist’s first solo show in Mumbai in nearly two decades. Known for her intricate graphite drawings and multidisciplinary practice spanning installation, photography, video, and climate change, her artistic journey has long engaged with the themes of ecology, climate change and the natural world. In this ongoing exhibition, these strands converge through a series of works centred on water, salt, and pepper — materials that carry natural and historic weight across centuries.
