Hospitals refusing admission to Covid patients without oxygen cylinders in Lucknow

Family members of Covid-19 patients were seen lining up outside refilling centres in Lucknow hoping to procure oxygen cylinders. Hospitals are denying admission to patients who are unable to get their own oxygen cylinder.
With the healthcare infrastructure in Lucknow reeling under the ongoing surge in Covid-19 cases, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh is now stating at a shortage of oxygen cylinders. Massive crowds were seen outside oxygen refilling centres near Talkatora and Nadarganj in Lucknow on Wednesday. People from distant parts of the state flocked to the refilling centres in the hope that they may be able to procure liquid medical oxygen cylinders either for themselves or their loved ones being treated for Covid-19. The shortage of oxygen cylinders in hospitals across Lucknow has resulted in coronavirus patients having to wait for hours before they can be treated.More Related News
