Home to many temples, UP’s Bateshwar should be developed like Varanasi and Mathura: Hindu saint

Hindu saint Mahamandaleshwar Baba Balak Das has demanded that Bateshwar in Agra district of UP be uplifted the way the holy cities of Varanasi, Mathura and Vrindavan have been developed.

Hindu saint Mahamandaleshwar Baba Balak Das of Digambar Nirmohi Akhara has demanded that Bateshwar in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh be developed by the government the way it has been done in the holy cities of Varanasi, Mathura and Vrindavan.

Bateshwar is not only home to hundreds of temples but is also the birthplace of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he said.
