Doha, Qatar: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has lined up high-impact conferences, workshops and scientific events for 2026, reinforcing its commitment to advancing clinical excellence, fostering professional development and enhancing patient care in the country.
One of the main conferences scheduled Qatar Health Congress 2026 (QHC 2026), themed, “Innovation and Integration across Medical Disciplines,” is set to build on the strong credibility and excellence established by previous editions of Qatar Health. The three-day conference in January is now open for registration via the HMC website. Aligned with HMC’s vision of patient care excellence, the congress will serve as a high-level scientific platform delivering state-of-the-art updates across Internal Medicine and its subspecialties, including endocrinology and diabetes, rheumatology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, nephrology, infectious disease, allergy and immunology, alongside trauma, critical care and artificial intelligence.
The congress will be preceded by two days of pre-conference courses, workshops and symposia, and will offer a minimum of four theme-specific tracks delivered in a hybrid format. The programme includes plenary lectures by distinguished speakers, in-depth symposia, hands-on workshops such as medical procedures and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), meet-the-expert sessions and a comprehensive postgraduate course for physicians. Expected to attract more than 2,000 participants from Qatar, the Gulf, the wider MENA region and beyond, the event will feature around 40 international speakers and over 100 local experts.
The Qatar Health Congress is one of several major initiatives within a year-round programme of conferences, workshops and symposia aimed at advancing continuous clinical education and service improvement across Qatar’s healthcare sector. HMC has set a comprehensive events calendar designed to support healthcare professionals with the latest evidence-based knowledge, practical skills and opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration.
The programme begins in January with the Uro-Oncology Conference and the “Communication That Cares” Workshop, scheduled from January 8 to 10 at the Itqan Clinical Simulation & Innovation Center.
