
Himachal Pradesh to promote 1.16 lakh Class 10 students to next class

The Himachal Pradesh government is promoting 1.16 lakh Class 10 students to the next class without any exams due to the Covid-19 situation.
In a major relief to the Class 10 students, the Himachal Pradesh government on Wednesday cancelled the Matriculation board examinations and decided to promote 1,16,954 lakh students to Plus one. "The decision has been taken due to the sharp surge of Covid-19 cases in the state.It was also decided in the meeting that the annual examination of 10th standard of Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education would stand cancelled," a state government spokesperson said. All the students, the spokesperson said, would be promoted to Class 11 by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBSE) as per the norms suggested by CBSE.
Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
