The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert in 10 Telangana districts for Thursday (June 12, 2025).
According to the latest IMD bulletin, heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Jagtial, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal districts. In addition to the rainfall warning, the IMD has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at isolated places across all districts of the state.
For Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, the forecast for the next 24 hours indicates a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds. Hazy conditions are expected during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are expected to be around 32°C and 23°C, respectively.
