
HC issues notice to Delhi government for Covid vaccination of beggars

The Delhi High Court has issued notice to the Delhi Government for the vaccination of beggars in the capital.
The Delhi High Court on Tuesday issued a notice to the Delhi Government, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) and Delhi Police for Covid vaccination of beggars roaming in the streets of the capital. A PIL was filed in the court regarding the matter. The PIL said unless the vaccination of these beggars is done they should be kept in a centre. The PIL stated that such people often touch bike riders or auto passengers for money which could lead to transmission of Covid-19.More Related News
