The Haryana CM’s unannounced visit took MCG officials by surprise. On reaching the civic body office, Khattar immediately carried out an inspection of the control room and inquired about the cleanliness and sanitation duties being undertaken at night.
He also called up officials and checked the duty rosters. According to a PTI report, CM Khattar dropped by the MCG office after being informed of the absence of any vehicle on cleaning duty at night.

An irate Khattar reprimanded MCG officials for their negligence and over “major flaws” found during the inspection.
