‘Guntur Kaaram’ trailer: Trivikram Srinivas, Mahesh Babu on action mode for Sankranti season. The film releasing on January 12 also stars Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ramya Krishna, Prakash Raj, Jayaram and Jagapathi Babu
The trailer of director Trivikram Srinivas’ new Telugu film Guntur Kaaram, which will be released on January 12 ahead of Sankranti festivities, features Mahesh Babu as Ramana and his fiery attitude is described as ‘highly inflammable’. The trailer begins with Ramya Krishna’s character being questioned about allegedly abandoning her elder son. Years later, we see Ramana as someone who easily throws punches and takes on Prakash Raj. Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary are the leading women. The film is Mahesh and Trivikram’s third collaboration after Athadu and Khaleja.
Keeping in tune with the mention of Guntur in the title, the trailer shows Mahesh in a red chilli yard in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Guntur Kaaram also stars Jagapathi Babu and Jayaram and is produced by S Radha Krishna for Haarika and Haasine Creations. The crew includes music composer S Thaman, cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa, production designer AS Prakash and editor Naveen Nooli.

Parvathi Nayar’s new exhibition, The Primordial, in Mumbai, traces oceans, pepper and climate change
Opened on March 12, the exhibition marks the artist’s first solo show in Mumbai in nearly two decades. Known for her intricate graphite drawings and multidisciplinary practice spanning installation, photography, video, and climate change, her artistic journey has long engaged with the themes of ecology, climate change and the natural world. In this ongoing exhibition, these strands converge through a series of works centred on water, salt, and pepper — materials that carry natural and historic weight across centuries.
