Much to their relief, the exams now stand cancelled in Gujarat. Last week, the government of Gujarat asked the Centre to help them vaccinate all those above the age of 18 who were set to appear for the Class 12 board exams. Experts also said that while vaccination for students is necessary, it is impractical at the moment.
