The Union government on Thursday revoked the anti-dumping duty on viscose staple fibre originating in or exported from China and Indonesia. A notification issued by the Ministry of Finance on August 12 says, the government revokes anti-dumping duty on viscose staple fibre, excluding bamboo fibre, exported from China or Indonesia. The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) recently recommended the withdrawal of anti-dumping duty on viscose staple fibre originating in or exported from Indonesia or China and are imported by India.More Related News
In 2011, the Karnataka government announced that five botanical gardens will be developed on the lines of the Lalbagh Botanical Garden in Bengaluru across the State. But according to the latest developments, there will only be four such gardens as the Horticulture Department is most likely to drop the project that was supposed to come up in Chikkaballapura district.
