Gehraiyaan intimacy director Dar Gai spills the beans on Deepika-Siddhant's bold scenes | Exclusive

In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Gehraiyaan's intimacy director Dar Gai opened up about directing Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi's bold scenes.

When the trailer of Gehraiyaan released, all eyes were on Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi's crackling chemistry. As Deepika and Siddhant dived into each other's arms in the intimate scenes from the film, they raised many eyebrows. However, behind their bold scenes, there was one person who directed their every move. And the person in question is Dar Gai, the intimacy director of Gehraiyaan.

In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Dar Gai opened up about directing Deepika and Siddhant's bold scenes and called it one of her favourite experiences ever.

She said, "I don't want to sound cheesy, but it was one of my favourite experiences ever because when you have the right people on board and professionals who believe in what they are doing and why they are doing it, it is then that the magic starts. Shakun (Batra, director of Gehraiyaan) is an incredible director. He doesn't just have the creative energy, he also has a command over his craft. With Siddhant and Deepika, I could play around with a lot of interesting techniques."

Dar Gai had Neha Vyas - an intimacy coordinator - to help her out, who conducted workshops with the actors. "When you build a team with different responsibilities, you feel secure to go ahead with it," added Dar.

Dar Gai revealed, when she came on board for the project, Neha Vyas had already conducted certain workshops and because of that, she could push Deepika and Siddhant slightly more.
