Funds sought for Naganahalli railway terminal in State Budget
The Hindu
The completion of the greenfield railway terminal at Naganahalli by 2024, as envisaged by the Railway Board, hinges to a large extent on the State government’s alacrity in land acquisition and allocation to the Railways.
Though the Railway Board has included the Naganahalli terminal as a priority project and even sanctioned ₹19.99 crore for the financial year 2021-22, all eyes are on the State Budget, to be tabled in March, and the funding that could be made available for it by Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa.
