After Vijay Rupani’s sudden resignation as the chief minister of Gujarat, political circles are abuzz over what might have caused his departure. BJP sources told India Today that there seemed four major reasons that led to Vijay Rupani’s resignation. He had become a “non-performer CM” during the Covid-19 pandemic, said a BJP source. “People were not happy with the Covid situation in Gujarat. They were always angry about the work done by the BJP government here. Vijay Rupani was proving to be a non-performer chief minister,” the source said.
