In his third season in Formula 2, Jehan Daruvala will drive for Prema Racing after a good stint with Carlin, and will look to secure a maiden Formula 2 title.
Jehan Daruvala’s stint in Formula 2 might be championship-worthy this season as he signs for the reigning F2 champions, Prema Racing with whom he competed in the 2019 Formula 3 season. The 23-year-old will also continue to be part of the Red Bull Junior Team for a third year running.
Charles Leclerc and Mick Schumacher both raced and won the F2 Championship with the Italian team, and were promoted to Formula 1 the very next season. Jehan hopes to repeat the feat. “Charles and Mick clinched F2 titles for Prema Racing and went on to race in F1 the very next year. I hope to follow in their footsteps,” he said in his press statement as the Mumbai driver aims to clinch his first and Prema Racing’s third consecutive F2 driver's title.
