Former MP Vijay Goel’s phone snatched near Delhi's Red Fort

Former MP Vijay Goel's phone was snatched from near Red Fort in north Delhi on Monday. A case has been filed and an investigation is underway.

A mobile snatching incident of former MP Vijay Goel from near Red Fort in north Delhi was reported on Monday. The incident took place in the evening at 6.54 pm when Goel was coming from Daryaganj towards the Fort through the Upper Subhash Marg, police said.

When his car stopped near the Jama Masjid metro station, a person snatched the phone — Samsung Galaxy 9 from Goel's hand and fled.

PSO ASI Satyavir informed police about the incident and a case was registered at the Kotwali police station and an investigation is underway.
