Former CPI leader P. Raju passes away in Kochi, survived by wife and daughter, funeral in Paravur.
Former legislator and CPI Ernakulam district secretary P. Raju passed away at a private hospital in Kochi, Kerala, on Thursday (February 27, 2025) morning.
He had represented Paravur in the State Assembly during 1991 and 1996. Though one of the prominent leaders of the CPI in Ernakulam district, he had fell out with the party leadership and faced disciplinary action recently.
He had been serving as the State Vice President of AITUC.
He is survived by his wife and daughter.
His body will be brought to Paravur on Friday morning and the funeral will be held at his house premises in the evening.
