Fire breaks out in Andhra Pradesh's Itanagar, 12 houses burnt to ashes

Several blasts of LPG cylinders took place in Adhra Pradesh's capital Itanagar on Friday. All 12 houses with tin roofs were reduced to ashes before the firefighters arrived at the incident site.
A fire destroyed more than 12 houses and a Bolero Pick Up in P Sector of Itanagar Capital Complex, Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.
The reason behind the fire is yet to be established, said police.
All 12 houses with tin roofs were reduced to ashes before the firefighters arrived at the incident site. Several blasts of LPG cylinders took place during the incident. However, no casualties have been reported, Arunachal police SDPO Kamdam Sikom said.
"Several fire brigades reached the spot and controlled the fire," the SDPO said.
The teams of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, 33 Batallion, rescued a child stuck inside a house, said Shimpam, assistant commandant, ITBP.
Tenants of the rented flats said they were playing Holi within the campus and suddenly, a fire broke out on wooden roofs, causing damage to properties.
