On Sunday, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha said that 'Rail Roko' protests will be held across the country on October 18 to demand the dismissal and arrest of Union minister Ajay Mishra in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri incident.

SKM demands that Ajay Mishra Teni be removed as a Minister in Govt of India and arrested immediately - Country-wide Rail Roko tomorrow (Oct. 18th, Monday) to press for this demand - Protests will only be intensified until justice is secured in Lakhimpur Kheri Farmers Massacre
In a statement, the umbrella body of farmer unions spearheading the farmers' agitation against the Centre's three agri laws, said "protests will only be intensified until justice is secured" in the Lakhimpur Kheri case.
