The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant – Khorasan Province (ISKP), has claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing attack at the Kabul airport. Known to be a nemesis of the Taliban, the group is looking to fill the power vacuum created by the departing US troops in Afghanistan.
The suicide bombing attack at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul on Thursday evening was one of the deadliest this year as scores of people lost their lives. According to US officials, 13 US service members were confirmed dead while nearly 170 Afghan civilians have been killed and over 200 wounded. Gen. McKenzie to @glubold on whether he trusts the Taliban: "It's not what they say, it's what they do.
