Sony is introducing a new point and shoot camera in India for content creators and vloggers. The Sony Alpha ZV-E10 will be officially launched in the country on Monday afternoon and will succeed last year’s Sony ZV-1. The Sony Alpha ZV-E10 will be priced at Rs 59,490, Mukesh Srivastava - Head of Digital Imaging Business at Sony India told India Today Tech in an exclusive conversation. The camera maker will also introduce a vlogging kit (SELP1650), which will cost Rs 69,990 along with the camera.
The Alpha ZV-E10 is essentially optimised for vlogging but, comes with a 24.2-megapixel camera, which Sony believes can also shoot amazing still images. The camera also comes with APS-C Exmor CMOS Sensor and BIONZ X image processing engine to deliver high-quality imagery detailed with high sensitivity and natural looking bokeh. The camera is capable of taking 11 shots every second for up to 116 frames shots in JPEG (Standard) at one time. It also comes with real-time eye AF which continuously tracks the subject for stunning portraits.
