Elon Musk has garnered the attention of netizens on Twitter for taking a dig at Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has been grabbing headlines after his offer to buy the micro-blogging site Twitter. Musk, who currently holds the position of the richest man in the world, announced his intention to buy Twitter for a whopping USD 43 billion.

However, this time Musk has garnered the attention of netizens on Twitter for taking a dig at Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.

Musk’s offer to buy Twitter is under evaluation according to Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal. “The board would follow a rigorous process and make a decision in the best interest of our shareholders,” Agrawal told The Verge.

Now we are not sure what Elon Musk wanted to indicate with the tweet, but it is evident that the Tesla CEO is upset with Gates for some reason. One of the reasons why Musk could be angry with Gates is that the former Microsoft co-founder previously tried shorting Tesla stock positions worth half a billion. This, Musk said, could have lowered Tesla’s stock prices significantly.
