
Educational institutes in Himachal Pradesh to remain closed till April 15

The educational institutes, including schools and colleges, in Himachal Pradesh will remain closed till April 15 in view of the current Covid-19 situation.
The government of Himachal Pradesh has decided to keep the educational institutes in the state closed till April 15 in view of the sudden spike in Covid-19 cases in certain areas, said Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. Earlier, the government of Himachal Pradesh had decided to close the schools, colleges, and other educational instituted in the state from March 27 to April 4, but the closure has now been extended till April 15 in view of the Covid-19 cases. Now that the schools and colleges in the state have been shut down till mid-April, all the classes will be conducted through online platforms. The educational institutes will only reopen once the Covid-19 situation in the state is reviewed.
