While speaking at a convocation, the Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit said that education is the only weapon that can change the world for the better.
While addressing the Banwarilal Purohit 116th convocation of Khalsa College, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit emphasised the need for value-based education while remarking that education is the sole weapon that can change the world for the better.
He went on to urge students to work hard and adopt simple ways of living while emphasising that there are no shortcuts to success and that each milestone can only be accomplished with dedication, determination and perseverance.
Banwarilal Purohit added further, "Education is the only weapon in our hands that can change the world for better and value-based education is the need of the hour to take India to newer heights."
"As you obtain the degree, which is a reward of several years of your hard work, do not forget to thank all those who have been a part of this phase of your life," the Punjab governor told students further.
Speaking about principles and life, he added, "The life without principles is nothing. Values and spiritual ways of life make it more meaningful."
