There has been an impressive 11.4% growth in student enrollment in the last five years according to the latest All India Survey of Higher Education or AISHE report. Most significantly, the report showed a rise in the number of female students pursuing higher education. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ today announced the release of the report of All India Survey on Higher Education 2019-20. This report provides key performance indicators on the current status of Higher education in the country. Higher Education Secretary Amit Khare said that this report is the 10th in the series of All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) annually released reports.
