East Delhi Municipal Corporation started a plasma bank at Swami Dayanand Hospital in Dilshad Garden on Tuesday to connect eligible plasma donors with Covid-19 patients.
The raging second wave of Covid-19 has set many new challenges for the healthcare ecosystem. As the demand for plasma has increased manifold, there is an acute scarcity of donors. "Those who have recovered from coronavirus and are aged between 18 and 60, can donate plasma for Covid-19 patients. All those who are eligible and are willing to donate plasma, they may call us at 011-22581036," East Delhi Mayor Nirmal Jain said on Tuesday.More Related News
