ED searches premises of Assam-based Ghosh Brothers Group, seizes cash & jewellery worth Rs 63 lakh

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches at the premises of Assam-based Ghosh Brothers Group of Companies on Tuesday and seized unaccounted cash and jewellery worth Rs 63 lakh.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has carried out searches at various business and residential premises of Assam-based Ghosh Brothers Group of Companies and seized unaccounted cash and gold jewellery worth Rs 63 lakh along with incriminating documents, officials said on Tuesday.

The searches were conducted under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
