
ED raids in Mumbai: Company linked to NCP leader Nawab Malik's son under scanner

The ED on Monday raided five locations in Mumbai in connection with a misappropriation of funds case that the agency believes led to a loss of Rs 149.89 crore to the Union Bank of India.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday conducted searches at five locations in Mumbai in connection with a case where a nationalised bank was duped to the tune of Rs 149.89 crore. These locations included the homes and offices of directors of Associate High Pressure Technologies Ltd.
An ECIR was first registered in this regard in Delhi. The Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) is the equivalent of a first information report (FIR).
