Dwayne Johnson reveals he was often mistaken for a girl due to his soft features as a kid

Dwayne Johnson recently recalled an incident from his childhood when a classmate asked him if he was a girl. He said people thought so about him because of his soft features and really soft Afro hair.

Dwayne Johnson recently opened up about his past. The actor and former wrestler recalled that people used to think he was a girl when growing up. He even pointed out an incident when he was asked by a classmate if he was a girl on his first day of fifth grade. He said that it was because of his ‘soft features’ and ‘really soft Afro hair’. During an appearance on Sunday Today with Willie Geist, Dwayne Johnson revealed that he was often mistaken for a girl during his childhood days. Recalling an incident while travelling in his school bus, he said, “I sit down next to a kid, and within 60 seconds, he goes, ‘Can I ask you something?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ He goes, ‘Are you a boy or a girl?’ I would say between the ages of seven and 11, people thought that I was a little girl because I had really soft features and I had really soft Afro hair.”
