DU has reported that students appearing for the end-term OBE exams have been using unfair means via the Telegram app to write their answers.
In an effort to stop the usage of unfair means during the exams, Delhi University (DU) has written to messaging app Telegram to discontinue a group formed to allegedly help the varsity students during their online open-book exams (DU OBE). The varsity's online open-book exams (OBE) commenced on Monday for the final semester postgraduate and undergraduate students with nearly 35,000 students taking them on the first day, which was being conducted in the OBE format due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The email further states, “We have identified those students, and all these cases will come under unfair means and action will be taken as per university rules.” No information about the students using unfair means has been released by the varsity yet.
